  • Editor-In-Chief

    Donald Pasmore is an undergraduate student at Salisbury University who has poems published or forthcoming in Permafrost, Harpur Palate, The MacGuffin, The Shore, Sweet Lit, Cherry Tree, and other journals. In addition to being a student, he works as a Philosophy tutor, a Student Ambassador for the Fulton School of Liberal Arts, and an assistant editor at Poet Lore.     Ben Cooper is an undergraduate student studying Creative Writing and Philosophy at Salisbury University. He works as an assistant editor at Poet Lore and is published in The Penn Review, The Shore, West Trade Review, Saranac Review, Frontier Poetry, and more.

    Gracen Flores grew up in Arlington, Virginia before moving to Maryland during the pandemic. Her work questions our role in society as individuals and as a collective. Some of her work talks about bisexuality, adoption, and family dynamics.

    Everett Jones is an undergraduate student in the Creative Writing program at Salisbury University. He is a short fiction author and poet with a forthcoming publication in The Inflectionist Review. Outside of the writing world, he is a multi-instrumentalist with a love for alternative music.

    Rebekah M. Rykiel is a poet from Maryland and a student at Salisbury University. She’s a former student poetry editor and has current publications in The Scarab Literary Magazine at Salisbury University, The Shore literary journal, and Vernacular Press. She’s an assistant editor for Poet Lore. When she isn’t writing, she enjoys watching movies and seeing her friends and family.

    Daniel Amster is a graduate of Salisbury University. He was a co-editor-in-chief for his high school literary magazine, The Wyvern, and was a creative nonfiction editor for Salisbury University’s literary magazine, The Scarab. Alongside creative nonfiction, Daniel specializes in poetry and screenplays.

    Quentin Parker is from Bowie, Maryland and is in the Creative Writing MFA program at The University of Arizona. His fiction and nonfiction work has appeared or is forthcoming in Moon City Review, The Tusculum Review, The MacGuffin, New Delta Review, and elsewhere.

    Josey Zeunges is an undergraduate student at Salisbury University. She is double majoring in both English Creative Writing and Business Marketing. Josey works as a marketing intern for Shore Poetry and is an assistant editor of her school's literary magazine, The Scarab.

    Chris Brunk graduated from Salisbury University with a degree in Communications. He works as a reporter at a local Salisbury news station. His work is published in The Oakland Arts Review and The Shore. He is an aspiring birdwatcher and nautical enthusiast.

    Sierra Hixon is an undergraduate student at Salisbury University. She is an associate editor of The Scarab and has work published or forthcoming in Slipstream, Harpur Palate, The Shore, and others. When she’s not in the writing world, she can be found playing Skyrim, making jewelry, or grappling with existential dread.

    Colleen Salisbury is a student at Salisbury University majoring in Psychology and Creative Writing. Her poems have appeared in The Shore and Vernacular.

    Haley King is a Salisbury University student majoring in Biology with a minor in Creative Writing. Her poetry, featured in The Inflectionist Review and Hawai'i Pacific Review, explores themes of relationships and loss. Inspired by nature, Haley finds solace and creativity in the outdoors. She blends her scientific curiosity with artistic expression, crafting evocative verses that reflect her deep connection to the natural world and human experience.

    Sophia Goodwin is an undergraduate student double majoring in Communications and Theater Performance at Salisbury University. She has worked with Hulu and Netflix on their social media platforms for a number of years and has appeared in multiple performances on Salisbury’s campus. When she isn’t on stage, she enjoys spending time with her family.

    Gilberto Rodriguez-Hernandez is an undergraduate student at Salisbury University. He is majoring in Computer Science with a focus on Software Engineering and a minor in Mathematics.

    Samuel Dickerson is a student at Salisbury University majoring in English with a concentration in Creative Writing, and Computer Science with a concentration in A.I. He works at the university's Office of Nationally Competitive Fellowships and is an assistant editor for his school's literary magazine, The Scarab. He grew up in Chesapeake City, Maryland.

    Madeline Rathmann is a senior attending Salisbury University majoring in communications with a media studies track and minoring in creative writing and marketing. She has been writing amateur novels since elementary school and found a passion for short stories and creative nonfiction in college.
